Holiday Club
We try and gear our holiday activities according to age -
For children age 3-5 we offer holiday care in an environment which nurtures your little one. Play activities are geared around allow them to explore the world through imagination, toys and games crafts and outdoor play. There is a relaxation corner with beanbags and books to read as well as a home corner for role play. Outside we have the use of a bikes and trikes and a large playing field where we can enjoy sports and games .
For older children aged 6-11 we offer a wide variety of activities which includes construction games like Lego, arts and crafts, board games, card games, scientific toys like magnets and imaginative play with dolls or action figures. We use the schools main hall for physical play and the large playground space for sports like football and netball and also the wonderful tree house. Older children are encouraged to choose the activities they would most prefer although we have a changing programme of planned activities for them to do also
Please ensure that you provide a packed lunch and water bottle (no nuts or fizzy drinks please). We provide snacks and fruit throughout the day and often the children make or cook things to eat as part of an activity in the session. Please see our Food Page for information on snacks.
During our holiday club we try to follow the routine as seen below. Please note that this may vastly differ due to variables like trips or visitors. If your child needs to be collected at a specific time or you need more precise information for a particular day, please contact us.

When you come to our holiday club, please remember to bring:
-

A change of clothes (KS1)
-
A jacket and coat (if cold / wet)
-

Our holiday club runs at Morgans Primary School, in the school dining hall, from Monday to Friday throughout the school holidays. We are trialling an extension to our opening hours which will be from 9am to 5pm for a full day or half day session either from 9am to 1pm or 1pm to 5pm.
We try & plan our our holiday club weeks around a theme, a space themed week or an Easter activity week. Our structured activities will be based around this theme, be it arts and crafts, sporty games, making yummy treats or one of the or challenges and games.
Our focus is very much about having fun and playing. We often invite exciting visitors such as magicians, entertainers or small petting animals. Occasionally the children will go on outings. This might be a nature walk in the local woods or a cinema trip. All these activities will be outlined in our holiday planner and are included in the price.
