
Our Staff
The Dell hires a vast array of staff members of all different ages, backgrounds and experience. We are very proud of our team and put a lot of work into making sure they are trained and ready to care for your children.

All of our staff are DBS Checked (Disclosure and Barring Service) before beginning their roles with us. Your children's safety is our number one priority, and staff follow a number of policies and practises to optimise their security (see Safeguarding Policy).
Its important to us that our staff know how to care for the children's welfare. We send them on a number of courses in order that they may fulfil their jobs to the best of their abilities. These include: Safeguarding, Emergency First Aid, and Food Hygiene amongst several others.
Our team is made up of:
Manager
have a wealth of experience in working with children and are highly qualified in the field of childcare and management.
Deputy Manager
have a greater depth of experience in childcare and similarly hold a level 3 or above qualification within the field
Senior Playleaders
have a level of experience in working with children and are level 3 qualified in some form of Playwork or childcare.
Playleaders
are aged 18+ and make up the majority of our team.
Assistant Playleaders
are between 15-17 years old and are students studying for their GCSEs or A Level.

Karen
Morgans Manager
Karen has worked for the Dell since 2018 where she started as a Deputy Manager at The Dell Abel Smith.
Karen has 20 years of experience in Early Years and Playwork including time spent as Early Years pratitioner at Abel Smith School.
Karen has a relaxed approach and her favourite things are: messy play and creative arts.

Carole

Abel Smith site Co-Ordinator
Carole has worked for the Dell since February 2013, where she started as a Deputy Co-Ordinator.
Carole has 20 years of experience in managing after school clubs and classroom support, as well as 29 years in retail management and administration. She also has a Level 3 Diploma in Playwork.
Carole's favorite things are: Planning exciting activities.
